We help our clients identify and evaluate investment and exit opportunities, and advise them on all aspects of deal structuring, project management, negotiation and execution of transactions and investments.

We have an extensive track record of executing private equity investments worldwide, in both developed and developing/frontier markets, and advise our clients on direct equity investment, PE and VC fund subscriptions, co-investments, corporate venture funds, joint ventures, complex cross-border financings and private M&A deals.

We have advised our clients in a wide range of sectors and industries, in both traditional and alternative asset classes, with a focus on sustainability and impact investing, food & food-tech, agri-tech, real estate and payment technology.

Together with our strategic partners, we can support ESG- and impact- driven investments through a materiality assessment, qualitative and quantitative stress testing, monitoring and reporting in relation to specific projects and opportunities.

We assist our clients throughout the investment process, from the early stages (initial screening of opportunities , execution - including selection and supervision of external advisors - due diligence and negotiation) through to completion, post-closing asset management and exit.

LEON PACINI

PRINCIPAL

Leon worked in the City of London for over 15 years as senior counsel with leading international law firms and financial institutions. Leon specialised in cross-border private equity, venture capital, banking transaction, structure finance, capital markets, corporate matters, real estate and restructuring transactions.

Leon is a Harvard Law School graduate and a qualified lawyer in New York State (U.S.A), England & Wales and Italy.

Leon relocated to Monaco in early 2015 to join one of Europe’s largest single-family offices, focusing on financial investments and strategic acquisitions.

At the end of 2018, Leon founded Silverback to advise UHNWI, professional investors and their families on their investment goals and objectives.

Leon is a contemporary art collector, a music lover and practices taekwondo (Kukkiwon - World Taekwondo).

LILIAN PACINI

ADVISOR

Lilian is a qualified solicitor and a member of the Law Society of England & Wales.

Before moving to Monaco, Lilian’s legal practice was in criminal defence litigation specialising in serious crimes and a focus on fraud litigation and compliance.

She co-founded and managed her law firm in London, specialising in property law and real estate matters.

She is a co-founder of Silverback and also acts as an independent advisor to various charities.
